London-based Prindiville Design introduces its Land Rover Defender Limited Edition. Based on the latest Defender 90 Hard Top model, the vehicle can undergo a power upgrade in which the 2.4-liter turbo-diesel engine is equipped with a high flow intercooler and turbocharger, cranking the horsepower from 122 to 190, with 339 lb-ft of torque. The resulting boost allows the Defender to go from a standstill to 60 mph in just ten seconds. Customers can keep the standard six-speed manual transmission or opt for an automatic or tiptronic gearbox. The vehicle is fitted with LED lights, chrome rocker bars and a titanium sports exhaust system. A Revised suspension, high-performance brakes, and 18-inch alloy wheels are also added. Inside, the cabin is appointed with Italian leather sport seats, Alcantara upholstery and new center console. There’s also a 5-inch built-in LCD monitor with Internet, DVD player and GPS navigation. Prindiville is taking orders now for the Limited Edition Land Rover Defender, with just 25 examples available to the public. via: WCF
